Buddha's Attitude toward Other Religions

Buddha is the founder of a religion that was named, after him, as Buddhism and, today, has many billion adherents. We live in an age which makes it impossible to remain isolated and alone, i.e. without taking into account other human beings belonging to different religions and cultures. This very fact renders knowing the Buddhist attitude toward ‘the other' important. One of the effective ways of discovering the attitude of a given religion toward the other is to explore the mind-set and the attitude of the so-called founder of that religion to other religions.
